Cairns Yacht Club.
The Cairns Yacht Club is located on the waterfront
of Trinity Inlet. The Cairns Yacht Club has had an interesting
history which stretches back over 1oo years.
The Cairns Yacht Club is involved in a variety of sailing activities
with a focus on keel boat and junior dinghy sailing. The Cairns
Yacht Club also boasts a canoeing and outrigger wing which is
becoming very popular.
The Cairns Yacht Club has a lease on property at Ellis Beach where
outriggers and "off the beach catamarans" regularly
compete.
The Cairns Yacht Club faces a very positive
future in Cairns with the club moving to a new facility located
in the Cairns Marlin Marina very soon.
