Ellis Beach is located 27.7 kms north of Cairns City (approx 35 mins driving time). Ellis Beach is on the northern side of a rocky outcrop which seperates it from Palm Cove.

Ellis Beach is approx 1km long and offers a great relaxed location to enjoy the sun, sand and sea.

The Ellis Beach Surf Lifesaving Club provides stinger nets and safe swimming areas which allow for year round swimming at Ellis Beach.
